About Ryan Theriot:

With over 15 years of experience in commercial cinematography and photography, Ryan Theriot has built a dynamic career at the intersection of visual storytelling and strategic marketing.  His journey began over a decade ago when he impressed Getty Images at a New York Fashion Week after-party, catalyzing his transition from IT to full-time commercial media production.  Since then, his work has been featured globally through media companies such as Getty Images, WireImage, FilmMagic, & Redbull, appearing in major publications like Rolling Stone, People Magazine, and USA Today. 

As the founder of Ryan Theriot Photography, he specializes in commercials, films, live-streams, weddings, & live events, serving as Director of Photography.  He produced and filmed a feature-length independent drama, managing full production logistics across 30+ states in 90 days, a testament to his project leadership and technical expertise. 

Concurrently, as Marketing Director at NewOrleans.com & Director of Photography at Essence Festival of Culture, Ryan led digital campaigns and brand collaborations with clients including Warner Bros., Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Disney, and AT&T, blending creative vision with business development. Certified to teach major camera and lighting systems, he also empowers teams through technical training and innovation. 

He had the privilege of directing a documentary for Bentley Motors, marking the monumental occasion of the company’s 100th anniversary since the production of its first-ever car in 1919. That led to another rare opportunity: filming a documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Countach, leading up to the release of the newly reimagined Countach. For each film, Ryan provided all equipment and had the help of a single part-time assistant across several weeks of filming.
